| ...and now for THE Sampler.
The 1970 Paragon "kit" was picked up in a Flea Market for $2.00 (current cost about $260). A copy of "The Chase" originally sewn by Mary Starker (11 yrs. old) in 1760, and on display in a Williamsburg Museum (USA). It took me 2 years (along with other projects) to finish it..... (big sigh of relief), but very pleased with result. These photos are before the piece is washed, stretched and framed (once under glass, photography a little harder). |
